Melanie Wiedemeier-Jarad

Melanie holds a degree in chemical engineering with a specialization in polymer technology. In addition, she expanded her knowledge of rubber technology at the German Institute for Rubber Technology (DIK) in Hanover. A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on marketing completes her professional profile.
Melanie started her career at Bayer AG in 2000 as Technical Service Manager. In this role, she was responsible for the global plasticizers product group. After the spin-off in 2004, Melanie joined LANXESS where she held various positions within the Functional Additives division. In 2009, she assumed the role of Head of Product Stewardship and Quality Management within the Rubber Chemicals business unit. She has 24 years of experience in the chemical industry, including 15 years in rubber chemicals.
She is currently Manager for Regulatory Affairs and Sustainability in the HSEQ department of the Rhein Chemie business unit. Her responsibilities include monitoring and implementing regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and developing strategies to promote sustainability.
