In this presentation, Michelin's tire digital twin technology will be introduced. After a description of what is meant by this and what Michelin aims to achieve, concrete examples of the first applications for the Michelin tire digital twin will be introduced. Capabilities to improve the decision made by vehicle systems or human drivers – thanks to the insights related to the tire status or performance change during the usage phase – will be illustrated. Benefits for vehicle performance, user experience and sustainability will also be discussed.
