Since the beginning of the mandate, the European institution has worked toward finding a compromise between circularity and competitiveness for European industries. In this context, circularity and recycled materials are at the center of the discussion as a means to create a more independent European manufacturing industry. This presentation will discuss the main regulatory tools that will be made available to improve circularity for the tire industry. The main focus will be on the Clean Industrial Deal, the upcoming Circular Economy Act and ESPR.
