Circular conversion without performance compromise or costly reformulation is a real challenge. Solvay has developed bio-sourced and recycled precipitated silica with drop-in performance. A technical demonstration of the chemical and physical equivalence, including product characterization and performance in tire compounds with streamlined path to industrial rollout, will be presented. How to push tire performance beyond limits? Using Solvay High Surface silica grades through optimized rubber compound in different parts of the PC and truck tires. Targeted rubber compound data and specific silica use will be showcased to demonstrate enhanced mileage and rolling resistance alongside uncompromised wet grip and mixing efficiency.
