Room 3
Evolving issues from the new Euro 7 standards and TRWP mitigation
Tires are becoming a leading source of particulate emissions from modern vehicles, gaining interest in a range of different academic disciplines due to their potential to impact ecosystems and human health. To foster collaboration between engineering and other research domains, Loughborough University is leading a UK government-funded project to establish a network of stakeholders with a shared interest in tire emissions: the Tyre Particulate Emissions (TyPE) network. This presentation will outline TyPE’s goals and share some of its latest activities, including relevant simulation and testing capabilities at Loughborough University.
Findings to date from the TyPE network
Benefits of engaging with the TyPE network
