The tire industry is looking for opportunities to increase sustainability in raw material selection. Nynas has been at the forefront of this work, being one of the first suppliers offering a bio-based plasticizer a few years ago. In a fast-paced, changing world, Nynas continues to improve and expand its sustainable offer to the industry. The presentation will focus on naphthenic plasticizers designed for high-performance and sustainable tire compounds. The presentation covers Nytex Evo, products produced in a new innovative refining process, and a recent deep dive in bio-sourced materials for high-performance tire compounds called Nytex Bio.
