Dr Xiao-Dong Pan joined the research center at Zhongce Rubber Group in Hangzhou, China in 2022. He is currently pursuing studies on friction and wear behavior of tire rubber compounds. Prior to Zhongce, he worked in tire and rubber industry for about 18 years on subjects such as wet skid resistance of rubber compounds, development and applications of functionalized rubbers, applications of hydrocarbon resins in tire compounds, etc.
