Stefan has a PhD in technical chemistry from ETH Zürich. Since 2007 he has worked at BASF SE in Ludwigshafen, Germany, with responsibilities including high-temperature syntheses – R&D for catalysts and pigments; resins, dispersions, safety pigments – project management and product stewardship; circularity projects based on mixed plastic waste and rubber; pyrolysis for chemical recycling – technology management including R&D projects on rCB purifications and applications.
