Sander Vermuelen joined Michelin in 1993, upon his graduation from the Polytechnic School of Automobile Technics in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. He started his career at Michelin (in the Netherlands), holding several commercial assignments. Since 1998, Vermeulen has held various positions in sales, marketing and business development, as well as purchasing roles. He has been based in Beijing, Seoul, Shanghai and in Michelin's French headquarters. At present he is vice president of Michelin's end-of-life rubber products recycling business
