Norihiro Matsumoto

manager, Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. / DUNLOP
Norihiro Matsumoto joined Sumitomo Rubber Industries (DUNLOP) in 2011 after receiving an M.Eng. in Polymer Chemistry from Kyoto University. He has worked on rubber structural analysis using synchrotron and neutron techniques, tire compound development, advanced materials including ACTIVE TREAD, and 6PPD alternative materials. He currently serves as Manager of Tyre Rubber Friction Testing and Analysis, focusing on tire friction mechanisms and evaluation technologies.
