Dr. Behroozi is a Staff Attribute Lead at Amazon / Zoox, where he leads ride and handling attribute development for next-generation autonomous robotaxi platforms.

He earned his PhD and completed his Postdoctoral research at the University of Birmingham specializing in finite element analysis of pneumatic tires. He has held research and engineering roles at TNO Automotive and General Motors’ Corvette and Cadillac Racing affiliate (Pratt&Miller Eng), working on tire F&M characterization, advanced tire testing and physics-based tire modeling. At General Motors, Dr. Behroozi served as Ride & Handling Attribute Development Lead, Advanced Chassis Lead and Senior Vehicle Dynamics CAE supporting multiple vehicle programs through objective, subjective and simulation-based development.

Dr. Behroozi has been an active contributor to the Tire Technology Conference and Expo for over 15 years and has led the Tire Mathematical Modeling Course at TTX for the past five years. He has authored and co-authored numerous technical publications and regularly serves as a journal editor, peer reviewer, session chair, panelist and award committee member for leading tire and vehicle dynamics conferences and journals.

Tire Mathematical Modeling course emphasizes practical, industry-relevant approaches to tire testing, modeling and simulation, drawing on best practices from leading OEMs, academia and top-tier tire testing and modeling institutes. It is designed to both upgrade and refresh knowledge for a broad audience ranging from early-career engineers and researchers to experienced industry professionals.
