Michael Weinert completed a master's degree in process engineering/plastics technology in Stuttgart. After working in plant engineering, he spent several years as a research assistant in applied university research with a focus on bioplastics. This was followed by several years in product development for reusable applications, focusing on materials and recycling. At TÜV Süd Product Service, he specializes in circular economy within sustainability services, with a focus on the TÜV Süd Recycled Content Program.
