Jeyakumar Krishnakumar is divisional head of predevelopment (global research function) at Apollo Tyres Global R&D Asia, with over 22 years of experience in R&D and technology development. A mechanical engineering graduate from Anna University’s College of Engineering, Chennai, he has held key roles at CEAT Tyres, LM Glasfiber, Valeo, Barry Wehmiller and JK Tyres. Known for his deep expertise in product design, simulation and innovation, Krishnakumar has contributed significantly to several global tire technologies. A passionate, lifelong learner, he remains committed to advancing tire technology through continuous learning and application of cutting-edge developments across the industry.
