Jan Henke studied international economics. He has worked at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy in the research area of environmental economics. He has been working with Meo Carbon Solutions since its foundation. Meo is a consultancy focussing on sustainability, climate change, renewable resources and energies, the bio- and circular economy and sustainability certification. Henke has been involved since the beginning in the development of ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) and GRAS (Global Risk Assessment Services), where he is managing director. He is working on solutions for EUDR-compliant value chains, recycling and sustainaiblity certification for tires.
