James Knowles

senior lecturer in dynamics and control, Loughborough University
Dr Knowles is a senior lecturer in the department of aeronautical and automotive engineering at Loughborough University, with research interests in the modeling and prediction of tire rubber friction and wear. Knowles currently leads an EPSRC-funded network on tire particulate emissions (TyPE), which aims to connect researchers working in this multidisciplinary space to help mitigate the impacts of future tires on the environment and its inhabitants.
