Currently auditor (internal and external) of ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 at) and lead assessor ISO/IEC 17021 (UKAS) at Saudi Accreditation Center (SAC), Dr Alsalamah was formerly director of the mechanical and materials lab, and now director of engineering laboratories, Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO); member of the Expenditure and Projects Efficiency committee, SASO; manager of the Saudi Korea Vision 2030 Technical Cooperation Program; and Scientific advisory board (SASO) and Chair of the Technical Study Team of The Product Safety Committee at Saudi quality vision. Dr Alsalamah followed his BSc in applied mechanical engineering, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, KSA, with an MSc in applied engineering materials, University of Liverpool, UK, completing his PhD in materials and engineering materials science, at the University of Sheffield, UK.
