Gerald Hofmann graduated in mechatronics at Munich University of Applied Sciences in 2003. In 2009, he teamed up with Prof. Dr Michael Gipser and established cosin scientific software, to advance the development and application of FTire, the leading higher-frequency tire model in the market. From 2009 to 2020 Hofmann was, together with Michael Gipser, responsible for product development, Q&A, business processes and licensing. He has been CEO at cosin scientific software AG since 2020.
