Dr Florian Diehl, director of sales, is responsible for the renewable functional filler business at UPM Biochemicals. He studied rubber technology at the German DIK, holds a PhD in physical chemistry together with a master’s in business administration and has close to 15 years of work experience in the rubber and plastics industry. Before joining UPM in early 2019, he worked in various positions including R&D, application development and technical marketing in the carbon black business.
