Filippo Bassetto earned his MSc in mechanical engineering at Politecnico di Milano, with a specialization in ground vehicles. He joined Pirelli’s modeling team in 2020, in the vehicle dynamics and OE support group. He supported the development of OE tires through offline simulations, DIL simulator activities and outdoor measurements. He is currently responsible for the tire modeling team, where he focuses on the development of internal tire models able to predict comfort, thermal behavior and grip on low adherence surfaces.
