Filippo Bassetto achieved Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, with a specialization in Ground Vehicle. He joined Pirelli’s modelling team in 2020, in the Vehicle Dynamics and OE Support group. He supported the development of OE tyres through offline simulations, DiL simulator activities and outdoor measurements. Currently he’s responsible for the Tyre Modelling team, where he focuses on development of internal tyre models able to predict comfort, thermal behaviour and grip on low adherence surfaces
