Cecilia Malverti earned her MSc in mechanical engineering from Politecnico di Milano, completing a thesis on the experimental and numerical characterization of composite materials. She joined Pirelli as a member of the testing innovation team, where she focuses on both the theoretical analysis and experimental measurement of compound friction. Her current work includes the development of robust methodologies to characterize the behavior of compounds under various conditions, using the high-speed linear friction tester system.
