Bharat B Sharma is a chemical engineer and rubber technologist with 46 years of direct/indirect experience in and around the tire and rubber industries. He spent 21 years at JK Tyres (General Tires), Birla Tyres (Pirelli Brasil) and Apollo (Continental) working on tire technology; and 21 years at ExxonMobil Chemical and Reliance Industries Ltd on elastomer technical support. For the past four years, Sharma has been technical director for the TWC Group, making speciality rubber chemicals. Sharma has published in international/national publications, has four patents to his name, and is VC of the Indian Rubber Institute, Gujarat.
