Dr Andreas Topp holds the position as Continental’s vice-president for platform development and industrialization for PLT tires. The organization of Dr Topp is responsible for innovating, developing and industrializing new technologies and platforms for the PLT business. In previous functions within the tire organization of Continental, Dr Topp held positions in tire material and process development and industrialization, product development and various other functions in R&D of tires. Dr Topp holds a PhD in physical chemistry from the University of Cologne, Germany, and worked on a postdoctoral thesis.
