Afsar Musthafa has over 14 years of experience in compound development in global R&D at Apollo Tyres, including off-highway tires (OHT), commercial vehicles and passenger vehicles. He holds an MSc in polymer technology and is currently based in Enschede in the Netherlands, where he develops summer passenger tread compounds. His expertise spans material selection, formulation and performance optimization for diverse vehicle applications. Outside of work, he is a passionate cyclist.
