Nissha has developed the sheet -type sensor that maps the in-plane distribution of pressure and shear force by detecting deformation of the sensor surface.
3-axis (XYZ) pressure mapping so that user can measure the dynamics of tire tread patterns more efficiently than measuring each point individually, thereby accelerating the tire tread pattern development while reducing costs such as labor costs.
Thinner and lighter than load-cells so that user can bring sensors to any location, such as test chambers or test tracks, and measure tire without the additional construction to fill the gaps between the ground and sensor.
The current sensor is already being used in Japan tire market, but to further improve its performance, we have started developing a high-resolution sensor with a resolution of approximately 2mm square. We will also be showcasing this development product at the exhibition.
