The RTM friction tester can
evaluate the friction performance of tires by material testing. A ring-shaped
road surface is used to simulate the road surface in Dry, Wet, and Ice
conditions. A constant load is applied to a rubber test piece in the shape of a
tire while the frictional force is measured using a controlled slip ratio
ranging from 0 to ± 95%
